Friponil Causing Millions of Bees to Perish

Friponil used to control agricultural pests on crops and termites in buildings has been blamed on causing millions of bees to perish. The bee poisoining is estiamted to have cost apiarists up to $170,000.



In April, five apiarists, from near Griffith, lost the bees from 340 hives after they were poisoned by the pesticide Fipronil.
